Intelligence artificielle et FLE : De la personnalisation de l’apprentissage à la transformation des pratiques pédagogiques
Vol. 11, Issue 1, Special Issue, Jan-Dec 2025 | Page: 35-40
Abstract
This paper explores the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the process of learning French as a Foreign Language (FFL). It examines various AI-driven tools, methodologies, and technologies that have emerged in recent years, transforming the traditional classroom experience. The study analyses the effectiveness of AI in language acquisition through personalised learning, interactive tools, and adaptive systems that cater to individual learning styles. Drawing on theories from Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL), the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework, and Sociocultural Theory, it argues for a blended approach combining AI technologies with traditional methods. The paper also addresses the challenges and limitations of AI in language learning, highlighting the irreplaceable role of teachers and the necessity of cultural understanding. Finally, it suggests future directions for the harmonious integration of AI in FFL teaching, focusing on the ongoing evolution of AI tools and their complementarity with human-centred pedagogy.
